Qualifying for the First Time Car Buyer Program

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Have a valid California drivers license
  • Not have a previous auto loan
  • Have a minimum of 6 months employment or be a college graduate

 

The car you want to purchase must also qualify by meeting these requirements:

  • Loan amount not to exceed retail blue book value
  • Max loan amount is $30,000
  • 10 model years old or newer
  • The vehicle must have less than 115,000 miles
  • The vehicle must be registered in California
