Classroom Improvement Grant

Get up to $500 for Your Classroom

Submission deadline is October 2, 2020

Teaching in today’s environment has presented new challenges for schools and teachers. At Foothill we know there are new tools, training, and resources that you need in order to keep
students learning in this digital environment. Our Classroom Improvement Grant can be used to help you get the tools and resources you need to prepare your remote classroom or to provide
other resources to assist with distant learning. We encourage you to use this grant to help excel your classroom and think outside the box for new ways to enrich students’ lives.

  • Grants are awarded in amounts up to $500
  • Classroom Improvement Grants are available to any certificated teacher, learning specialist, or librarian
  • You do not need to be a member of Foothill Credit Union to apply, but your school must be one of Foothill’s established partners or within a partner school district:
     
    • Arcadia Unified School District
    • Azusa Unified School District
    • Bonita Unified School District
    • Charter Oak Unified School District
    • Covina Valley Unified School District
    • Duarte Unified School District
    • Glendora Unified School District
    • El Monte City Unified School District
    • El Monte Union High School District
    • Monrovia Unified School District
    • Mountain View School District
    • San Marino Unified School District
    • South Pasadena Unified School District
    • Temple City Unified School District
    • The folloing private schools:
      • Damien School
      • Alverno Heights Academy
      • Barnhart School
      • Bethany Christian School
      • La Salle School
      • Clairbourne School
      • Rio Hondo Prep
      • Flintridge Sacred Heart
      • Arcadia Christian School
      • Dove Day
      • Live oak canyon
      • Westridge School
    • Azusa Pacific University
    • Citrus College
  • Grants can be used for equipment, educational software, special books or materials, or whatever else you need
  • No other person or entity has claim to the money or goods purchased. If the recipient leaves the school, any capital goods remain at the school property
  • Grants will be announced in the month of November. When possible, checks will be presented to recipients at a school faculty meeting
  • Recipients agree that their name may be used for promotional purposes to enhance awareness of the Foothill’s Classroom Improvement Grant
  • One application per person

How to Submit your Grant Request

  • Complete the online form below and submit, or
  • Get the form, print and complete, then drop off or mail to: Foothill Credit Union, 30 S. 1st Avenue, Arcadia, CA 910066, Attn: Marketing, no later than October 2, 2020, 6 PM PST. Chosen recipients will be announced in the month of November.
