Member Services Representative - Arcadia Branch Teller (Full-time)

Incumbents in this positon are:

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 6 months experience within a credit union or banking environment
  • Minimum 6 months of handling high-volumes of cash

  • High degree of accuracy in handling cash and checks

Responsibilities:

Call Center - Covina (Part-time)

This position is responsible for providing a variety of service functions via the telephone relating to savings, checking, loans, account maintenance and membership.  You will provide our members with account counseling and education along with initiating resolutions for member issues including servicing and promoting credit union products and services and processing member transactions.  Qualified candidates must have outstanding customer service skills, communication skills and the ability to work in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to member inquires and requests on account information, ATM/Debit card issues, statements, copies of checks, stop payments, quote rates and payoff on loans, wire transfers and Home Banking
  • Process and fund consumer loans
  • Accurately and professionally open share, checking, certificates, IRA’s and other depository service accounts
  • Actively support organizational goals and promotions

Experience:

  • At least one year call center experience within a credit union or banking environment required  
  • Bilingual Spanish a plus
  • Must enjoy working with the public and building service relationships
  • Ability to read and understand credit reports and account records
  • Ability to organize and prioritize workflow

Marketing Specialist - Arcadia Branch

Foothill Credit Union is currently searching for a Marketing Specialist to add to our dynamic Marketing team. This position works alongside our Business Development and Marketing teams to further the growth of the organization through development and expansion of SEG relations, community involvement, and marketing campaigns.

This individual is responsible for meeting department monthly goals, providing excellent member service and supporting organizational goals and promotions.

The Marketing Specialist is required to actively participate in business associations, local networking groups and community events/activities, which may take place before and after regular business hours and on weekends.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Business Development

  • Assessment of marketing opportunities and target markets
  • Intelligence gathering on members and competitors
  • Generates leads for possible sales opportunities
  • Makes follow-up calls with product & service recommendations
  • Makes formal presentations to large and small groups
  • Coordination of onsite events and SEG visits
  • Tracks SEG activities and contacts
  • Promotes Financial Literacy to our members and offers educational opportunities

Marketing

  • Teams up with marketing to prepare and participate in credit union hosted/sponsored events
  • Helps plan and coordinate marketing campaigns
  • Assists in planning events, volunteer opportunities, and coordination of sponsorships
  • Educates and trains team members on promotions, products & services, and brand standards
  • Assists in updating branch marketing materials and providing inventory to branches

Social Media

  • Assists in posting to Foothill’s social media sites
  • Contributes original content for social media posts
  • Captures photos, quotes, testimonies to be used in social media posts and/or marketing
  • Engages on social media platforms to drive users to Foothill’s social media outlets
  • Provides intel on trending social media platforms and other engagement opportunities

Education/Experience

  • Minimum two years of credit union/financial services, with at least one year experience in business development, marketing, advertising, e-marketing and/or market research
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent knowledge and experience
  • General knowledge of the following is desirable: credit union industry, member service, sales and marketing
  • Knowledge of marketing, advertising, direct response and corporate communications principles
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills required
  • Strong copywriting, corporate communications, editing, and proofreading skills

Network Administrator – Arcadia Branch (full-time)

Foothill Credit Union is looking for an experienced and motivated Network Administrator to join our dynamic IT Department.  This is a full-time position that is located at our main branch in Arcadia, CA.

The Network Administrator is responsible for the continuous operation and functionality of all LAN/WAN equipment, servers, workstations, computer software/hardware, applications, tele-communications, and comprehensive security associated with these systems.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must have in-depth knowledge and experience with data networks, workstations, and computer hardware/software systems, combined with a demonstrated record of commitment to member support
  • Strong problem solving skills in troubleshooting LAN/WAN, servers, PCs routers, switches and related hardware/software problems
  • Responsible for managing user requests and projects
  • Responsible for researching and making recommendations of third-party software packages, including installation and configuration
  • Remain current on the latest industry news involving various computer-based and human threats to Foothill’s network infrastructure, including viruses, external/internal penetration and other internal risks affecting stability and confidentiality/integrity of data; make recommendations for enhancement or improvements to the system
  • Diagnose and assist in the resolution of network configuration and implementation issues
  • Prepares and updates department procedures related to computer and communications systems
  • May require working weekends, holidays, and extended hours on short notice
  • Continuously look for ways to improve processes relating to technology
  • Ability to operate independently
  • Must have a team player attitude and the ability to work within a team of technical professionals
  • Must be organized and detail-oriented
  • Must have solid oral and written communication skills

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience working in Network Administration
  • Computer Science/MIS degree or related work experience
