Consumer Loan Officer

Foothill Credit Union is looking for an enthusiastic and energetic Consumer Loan Officer.  We want individuals who pitch in and help others without being asked and want team members who are committed to the success of the team and organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reviews consumer loan applications, credit reports and other documentation to determine credit worthiness of applicant
  • Approves and denies loan requests based on established guidelines
  • Assists in achieving established team and individual goals

Experience and Education Requirements:

  • College degree or equivalent combined education and experience
  • Minimum four years loan officer experience analyzing and approving loan applications
  • Credit union or banking experience a plus
  • Complete understanding of the banking regulations and statutes (Reg B, Reg Z, ECOA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, Bank Secrecy Act, The Right to Financial Privacy)
  • Aptitude for detail a must

Programmer

Foothill Credit Union has an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual with good working knowledge and at least 1 year of hands-on experience designing, developing, maintaining and supporting software applications. Coding experience with SQL, HTML, .Net, is required and basic graphic editing skills preferred. 

Knowledge of the Symitar programming environment with PowerOn, SymForm, SymConnect/SymXchange is a plus. In addition, you will have an opportunity to gain experience in all areas of Information Systems and assist with organizational projects as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, design, test and implement applications for users or departments
  • Work with end users to understand specifications for programming requests and department projects
  • Write programming code in our core system to generate reports, create or modify user screens or forms, and update the core system database
  • Develop application software using recommended programming language such as but not limited to .NET, SQL, JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, CSS, Adobe Acrobat, Symform, Symform PDF, VBA and scripts
  • Test and verify application software to assure accuracy, integrity, interoperability and completeness to achieve desired results
  • Analyze, create, and maintain updates to Data Warehouse system, such as creating complex reports and integration of different systems, as well as other desktop or web-based systems as needed. Proficient in MS SQL Server, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
  • Maintains and updates project plans and department procedures related to programming
  • Conducts research of new programming tools, software, and technology that are applicable to the business environment

Education/Experience Requirement:

  • Computer Information Systems or Management Information Systems degree with emphasis in web design and programming, application software development and programming of business applications or related work experience in a financial computer programming environment is a plus
  • At least one year of programming work experience in a Microsoft .Net / SQL environment
  • Six months work experience programming in JavaScript, HTML, CSS
  • Knowledge of Windows server OS
  • Knowledge of SOAP, JSON, REST and XML preferred

MSC Contact Center

Operations Supervisor

Foothill Credit Union is looking for a passionate and energetic Operations Supervisor to assist in guiding the Glendora team in achieving established branch goals.

This position demands a person with an enthusiastic attitude who has a willingness to be a leader, especially in a team environment. A positive attitude and friendly service must be provided to both the membership and all fellow team members at Foothill. Must display solid leadership abilities and have a willingness to assist others whenever necessary and demand the same from their team members.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for supervising the operational activities and branch staff, including motivating, training and providing leadership to assigned team members.
  • Assists Branch Manager in completing regular and on-going formal and impromptu coaching sessions with team members, identifying areas for improvement, training needs and team member performance.
  • Leads and develops team to enthusiastically embrace a Sales and Service environment.
  • Works closely with the Branch Manager to develop, communicate and achieve established team and individual goals for the branch.
  • Works with the Branch Manager to provide team members with career development opportunities and assists in the development of training programs for their team.
  • May perform duties of MSRs and MSCs as needed.
  • Compiles and analyzes statistical reports on products and services cross-sold and disbursed by department team members. Reviews and distributes weekly, monthly and quarterly reports with team. 
  • Together with the Branch Manager develops controls to monitor proper compliance of all applicable regulations, including, but not limited to BSA, CIP, and OFAC.
  • Assists in the development of products and services, implements operational and lending procedures.  Develops controls to ensure proper procedures are being followed.
  • Handles opening and closing procedures of branch, as needed.
  • Reviews all out of balance conditions at daily closing and reconciles cash as required.

Experience/Education

  • 2 years credit union or banking experience, preferably in a leadership role
  • Understands banking regulations and statutes
  • Experience and understanding of the Check Processing Payment process
