ZashPaySM - a New Part of Online Bill Pay

Introducing ZashPay, the new electronic Person-to-Person payment feature within your online bill pay service. It's so quick and easy, you can pay back your best friend or dad with just a couple of clicks. And because ZashPay is part of Foothill's Online Bill Pay service, sending money has never been more secure or convenient — just login using your existing online password. 

ZashPay gives you the freedom to send money to individuals using their email address or mobile phone number. Recipients of ZashPay payments can claim their funds in as little as one business day and the funds will be directly deposited into their checking account.

Why use ZashPay?

  • No checks, stamps or cash to pay someone back.
  • No need to wait for checks to cash.
  • No trips to the bank to deposit money.
  • No high fees — it’s only $1.00 to send a payment and no cost to receive money.

It's easy to get started

  1. Login to your FOOTHILL@HOME home banking. If you haven't signed up for free home banking yet, you can do so by clicking here.
  2. Access your Online Bill Pay service
  3. Click the “Zash Pay” tab
  4. Enter the person’s e-mail address or mobile phone number and the amount to pay

Claiming Payments

How a ZashPay payment is claimed varies based on whether the recipient is a Foothill FCU member or even a ZashPay user. Below are four scenarios that can affect how payments are claimed:

  • If you are a Foothill FCU member who already uses Bill Pay, you are automatically a ZashPay user. You can claim any money sent to you through the “Pay People” option within Bill Pay.
  • If you are a Foothill FCU member who does not use Bill Pay, you can become an Home Banking/Bill Pay user and claim your ZashPay payments. The first time you receive a ZashPay payment you will be directed to our Home Banking service. If you choose not to become an Home Banking/Bill Pay user, you can still claim your money by creating an account through the ZashPay.com website.
  • Individuals who are not Foothill FCU members and are not ZashPay users will be invited (via email or text message) to become ZashPay users when they are notified they have been sent a payment. The payment notification includes the amount that has been sent along with a secure transaction code. The money will be deposited into the individual’s account once they become a ZashPay user.
  • If you send money to someone who is not a Foothill FCU member, but is already a ZashPay user, they will claim their funds through the financial institution and account they have designated for ZashPay use or by creating an account through the ZashPay.com website, whichever is applicable to their situation.

Please note: If you are a new ZashPay user, you may need your financial institution’s transit routing number. Foothill FCU transit routing number is 322273489.
